Vancouver Island · Ten to fifteen owners, by invitation

Build the life
on purpose.

A small, curated group of business owners who take the business seriously, and the rest of their life just as seriously. A real strategic plan, honest conversations, and a room that holds you to what you said.

The problem

Most of us run one part of life with strategy and the rest by default.

The business has a plan, numbers, a review cadence, people who ask hard questions. Your health, your marriage, your kids, your money, how you actually spend a week: those get whatever's left. Not because they matter less. Because nobody's measuring them, and nobody's asking.

So they drift. Slowly enough that you don't notice, until one day you do.

FOUND is the deliberate correction to that drift.

What it is

A room that takes the business seriously, and the whole life too.

  • A small room of people who have built something real and are honest about what hasn't kept pace.
  • Serious business strategy: the numbers, the assumptions, the next ninety days. Then the same rigour applied to everything else.
  • People who will support you and, more importantly, challenge you. When you bring a problem, the room shares what it looked like from where they sat. Not advice. Then you decide, and you answer for it next month.
  • Commitments made out loud, tracked in one place, and a rhythm that holds you to them all year.
  • A weekend on the lake that's actually fun.
What it isn't

You've seen the other versions.

  • Not a networking group. Nobody's here for your referrals.
  • Not a business mastermind where every conversation lands on revenue.
  • Not a motivational weekend. You'll go home with a plan, not a feeling.
  • Not guru-led. The three of us facilitate. Matt runs the strategy, Shane the life side, Mike the mindset. The room does the work.
  • Not a place to talk about change without doing anything about it.

Am I actually living the life I'm working so hard to build?

The question the whole weekend is built around
How the room works

Five things we hold ourselves to. They work the same on a business as they do on the rest of your life.

The rhythm

The weekend is where it starts. The year is the point.

November 01

The kickoff weekend

Three days at Lake Cowichan. Prep work done before you arrive. Saturday is the strategic plan for the business and the year. Sunday is breakouts and hot seats, where the room gets its hands on your plan.

Quarterly 02

Strat days

One day, in person. Review the numbers against the plan, challenge the assumptions, course-correct, set the next ninety days.

Monthly 03

The call

Progress, problems, the issue somebody's stuck on, and two-week commitments made out loud. Short, honest, and nobody gets to hide.

What we plan for. All of it, not just the first one.

Where it starts

It begins with a weekend
at Lake Cowichan.

The 2027 group is invite only. Someone you know pointed you here. See what the kickoff weekend looks like, or if this already sounds like the room you've been missing, tell us who you are.
